Last session in Scarborough

I have just lost my bloggy virginity, woopdeedoo.
As some of you may know it will probably be the last Scarborough Drum Circle on Thursday 19th. I feel like it has run its course.... but we will still have a bit of money left so was thinking about having occassional drum parties twixt Saltburn and Scarborough...or maybe a camping weekend. If you have any ideas we will be discussing what to do on Thursday. Hope to make it to some drumming on the beach one day. Thanks for all the great stuff that you do. Have fun and see you soon.
Helen x

  1. Shock Horror! No more manic trips to Scarbrough fair?!?!? Anyway, welcome to t'blog - drumtackdrumtakdrumtakedytacktacktack - take you a fair time to read all 62 blogs that have accumulated in the past month!

  2. Welcome Helen W, ... Djembes and Didgereedoos' reach a peak of intensity and speed and fill the air with a great vibration... What a shame about Scarborough Drum Circle. Lovely idea though about the Drumming Parties and a camping weekend, count me in. See you on the beach Helen W x

  3. Well done in popping your blogging cherry and welcome!!! The library folk in Scarborough will surely miss your Thursday night vibrations as will we.... Sorry can't make your last do hope it's as fab as usual. Hope to see you up this way or camping or something soon xxxx

  4. Looks like there'll be five of us there - looking forward to a great evening. Just found out Helen Drum can also do the didge - how about a duet??

  5. Yeh, shock horror at End of Scarboro.. it was fab seeing Bongo Col and his Rhythm Stick at Saltburn (remember Ian Dury and the Blockheads?).. We'll be down at the Posh Library(Scarbro) on Thursday to give u a rousing send-off, and plan future gigs together..
